Phyllis Jean (Wiley) Boult Hartsoe, 73, of Pipestem, WV, formerly of Warrensville, went home to be with her father and God, Sunday, May 9, 2010 at her home following a long illness.
Born Aug. 2, 1936 at True, she was the daughter of Robert Ellison and Juanita Wapela Craig Wiley. A former health care provider, she had lived over half her life in West Virginia. Phyllis was an avid gardener who loved growing all types of flowers and she enjoyed needlepoint, knitting, sewing and taking care of her pets.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen K. Hartsoe, and her foster parents, William and Emma Hill.
She is survived by: the father of her children, Earl David Boult of Virginia; two sons, Rick D. Boult and wife, Agnes, of Virginia and Barry E. Boult Sr. and Kathy L. Boult of Delaware; one daughter, Christine G. Weller and husband, Donnie, of Virginia; six grandchildren, Lisa Carp and husband Justin, David, Justin, Katie, Barry Jr. and Michael Boult; two brothers, Robert Earl Wiley and wife, Judy, of West Virginia and Eugene Turner of West Virginia; aunts, Beaula Seal and Sarah Bailey; her loving companion, Silkie; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 14, at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton, WV with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Friends may call from noon until time of services on Friday.
