The ACHS varsity cheerleaders along with head coach Rachel Shepherd are sponsoring the fifth annual Cheer X-Treme Spirit Camp at the high school July 26-28.
The camp will give participants a chance to learn and understand the basics of cheerleading, such as cheers, dances, and jumps.
This year, the cost for the camp is $60, which includes a camp t-shirt, a snack each day, camp instruction, and awards received on Awards Day.
To be guaranteed a camp t-shirt on the final day of camp, registration forms must be returned by July 21. Those registering after this date, and on the day of camp will receive their t-shirt at a later date.
On the final day of camp, there will be an exhibition performed by the campers in both age groups for their parents.
Kindergarten through fourth graders will attend camp from 9 a.m. until noon, with the final performance being held at 11:30 a.m. on July 28. Fifth through eighth graders will receive instruction from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. each day, with their final performance being held at 3:30 p.m. July 28.
