Beginning on Thursday, Oct. 11, the Ashe County Courthouse will hold a district court session. The Honorable Michael Duncan will be the presiding judge. The following cases will be heard:

Samuel Albert Absher, simple possession of a schedule III controlled substance

Kimberly Dawn Baldwin, two counts obtaining property by false pretenses

Joseph Duane Bare, carrying a concealed gun, driving while impaired, civil revocation of driver’s license, discharge weapon at an occupied property

Daniel Virgil Bennett, injury to real property, shoplifting concealment goods, driving while license revoked, operating a vehicle with no insurance, driving/allowing motor vehicle with no registration, four counts obtaining property by false pretenses

Robert Blevins, assault on a female

Vinson Lee Blevins, possession of stolen goods/property

Mariah Nicole Bowers, misdemeanor larceny, aiding and abetting an armed robbery

Robert William Brown, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana up to .5 ounces, driving after consuming, civil revocation of driver’s license

Robert Bradley Butrick, misdemeanor larceny

Nancy Dollar Canter, misdemeanor larceny

Rex William Cummings, assault on a female, assault with a deadly weapon, communicating threats, two counts reckless driving to endanger, no operator’s license, failure to heed light or siren, speeding

Ashley Victori Dillard, possession of synthetic cannabinoids, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place of controlled substance, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile

Brian Keith Dishman, two counts selling/delivering a schedule II controlled substance, driving while impaired, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute a schedule II controlled substance, conspiracy to sell/deliver a schedule I controlled substance

Michael Dean Dolinger, simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, rear lamps violation

Jerry Ray Dowell, breaking and or entering, larceny after breaking and or entering

Kaye Marie Elliott, two counts obtaining controlled substance by fraud/forgery

Ricky Dale Finley, assault by pointing a gun, assault on a female, communicating threats, second degree kidnapping, assault by strangulation

Ronnie Funderburk, two counts assault on a female

David Lane Hammonds, larceny of a motor vehicle, breaking and or entering

Paul Martin Hardy, carrying a concealed weapon, driving while impaired

Holly Kay Harrald, two counts felony conspiracy

Vernon Ralph Holman, misdemeanor larceny

Valerie Elizabeth Hopkins, shoplifting concealment goods

Tammy Leigh Howell, receiving stolen goods/property

Laura Ann Hughes, resisting a public officer, two counts felony conspiracy

Jacob Edwin Johnson, breaking and or entering, larceny after breaking and or entering, probation violation, simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance, misdemeanor larceny, injury to personal property

Matthew Noble Jordan, breaking and or entering a motor vehicle, attempted larceny

Phillip Tracy Lee, assault on a government official/employee

Robert Leroy Littleton, misdemeanor child abuse, prayer for judgment continued review

Holly Cecelia Miller, insurance fraud, false report to police station

Linda Kay Miller, two counts breaking and or entering, two counts misdemeanor larceny, expired/no inspection, operating a vehicle with no insurance, driving while license revoked, fictitious/altered title/registration card/tag

James Alan Osborne, selling a schedule II controlled substance, delivering a schedule II controlled substance, conspiracy to sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance

Angel Michelle Severt, simple assault, three counts driving while license revoked, failure to yield at a stop sign/flashing red light, expired registration card/tag

John Charles Severt, assault on a female

Brian Scott Shepherd, possession of stolen goods/property, attempted obtaining property by false pretenses

Janet Watson Trivette, two counts obtaining property by false pretenses

Charles Walter Williams, injury to real property, intoxicated and disruptive

Thomas Willoughby Jr., hit/run leave scene of property damage, reckless driving-wanton disregard, operating a vehicle with no insurance

Robert Brandon Woodie, selling marijuana, delivering marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute

Ross Bonnie Wooten, violation of a local ordinance

Thomas Wooten, violation of a local ordinance
