It appears Zeb Richardson will be firmly entrenched in the starting lineup for the Guilford Quakers.

Richardson first moved into the starting lineup over the holiday break at a tournament, and the move has certainly paid off.

The former Husky had two more outstanding games that helped push Guilford’s winning streak to six games and an 11-2 overall record.

On Wednesday, Guilford beat Methodist 84-61, thanks in large part to Richardson’s 17 points and 15 rebounds.

Saturday rolled around, and the freshman played another solid game. Richardson led all Quaker scorers with 14 points, helping the team secure a 68-54 victory over Hampden-Sydney College. He connected on four of his six shots from the floor, and was a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line.

Guilford (11-2, 3-1) will travel to Emory & Henry on Wednesday, followed by another road trip to Eastern Mennonite University, both Old Dominion Athletic Conference foes.
