Patricia Ann Mayberry of Goose Creek, passed away Oct. 7, 2012. She was 70.
Born in Derby, England, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Hetty Wing Walker.
She worked as a circulation manager with the Smyth County News and Messenger for many before her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Carter and son-in-law Stephen of Goose Creek; two grandchildren, Sidney Alexander Carter and Alison Leann Carter of Goose Creek; former husband, Jim Mayberry of Creston. Mrs. Mayberry is also survived by many friends and extended family members in England.
