Mrs. Hettie Virginia Graybeal Walters of West Jefferson passed away Sunday night, Feb. 24, 2013, at Margate Health & Rehab Center. She was 91.
Mrs. Walters was born in Ashe County on Monday, Aug. 22, 1921.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Herbert Walters.
She is survived by a son, Charles Walters and wife, Marilena, of Charlotte; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at West Jefferson City Cemetery with Rev. Lloyd Day officiating.
